SHADE TIRON
Shade Tarquinii Tiron has some huge shoes to fill: the child of a legendary adventurer who abandoned him at birth, Shade has long dreamed of being as adventurous as the family he never knew. When the mysterious Storybook reveals itself to him, Shade is finally given the chance to prove himself a true hero.
PLUCKY DELORIA
The owner of The Shooting Gallery, the most popular pub in Center City, Plucky has been Shade’s friend since they took dance lessons together as children. Goal-oriented and confident, Plucky’s attitude can come off as harsh. However, she’s as warm as they come to her friends.
BRUTUS BOCLER
Brutus is The Shooting Gallery‘s famous chef (and, on occasion, bouncer). Ex-military, Brutus was raised from childhood to serve the Centrarian Navy. His passion, however, had always been the culinary arts. Brutus shares a close bond with Plucky, who gives him free reign over the kitchen.
SLIDE
Slide, the mysterious masked thief of Center City, has made quite a name for himself. Operating out of the Burnt District, Slide has never been successfully captured by the Pumpkin Police, and as his activities become more daring, more and more Centrarians are disappearing…
"TAFT"
Taft, a creature traditionally known as a “No-Man”, is a mindless husk of a being. No-Men serve as slaves for the Star Couriers, and are highly aggressive when handled improperly. Taft, however, is a special case, and has created a home on the CCN Patriarch, much to Shade and the crew’s dismay.
THE STAR COURIERS
The Star Couriers are an interstellar shipping and trade faction operating out of colonial space. It would be hard to find a colonial planet that hasn’t had some sort of interaction with them. The Star Couriers operate under a strict set of laws which forbids the breaking of agreements and the direct influence of advanced technologies on other cultures and civilizations.
They are also masters of finding loopholes.
